Spent $220 on a scope probe kit, got shocked by my own test rig
Bought a proper differential probe set for my bench at home after years of making do with adapters, and first week it caught a floating ground on a PSU that could've fried a customer's board. Anyone else finally drop real cash on test gear only to find out how sloppy your old setup was?

That 220 bucks sounds cheap compared to what it could have cost you. Did the old setup ever give you a zap that made you second-guess things, or was it always just a quiet worry in the back of your head?
