Test bench rig kept crashing, turns out it was the riser cable
I set up a test bench last Tuesday with a spare GPU and a cheap 16x riser from an old mining build. Every load test would hard freeze after about 10 minutes, even after swapping the PSU and RAM. Swapped in a direct mount and it ran fine for 2 hours. Anyone else had riser cables cause weird intermittent faults like this?
