Remembering a pour at the old stadium in Cleveland that changed my approach to cold weather

We had a sudden freeze overnight and the surface crusted up, making it impossible to get a decent finish. Ever since, I always check the hourly forecast for the next 12 hours, not just the day. Anyone else have a cold weather rule they swear by now?

That dew point thing @viola84 mentioned is no joke. Got caught in a surprise drizzle that turned to instant ice one time, felt like I was walking on a frozen pond.
