My neighbor's 5G router got a bird nest inside it, now he thinks it's a government tracker

Last Tuesday I was helping my neighbor Dave swap out his internet router because the wifi kept dropping. When we popped the casing off, there was a tiny sparrow nest built right inside the fan vent, complete with three little eggs. Dave went pale and started whispering about how the router was secretly a listening device, and the birds were somehow part of the operation. I laughed so hard I nearly dropped the thing, but he was dead serious and took photos to post in some paranoid Facebook group. We got the nest out, birds flew off, and the wifi worked perfectly after that. Has anyone else dealt with wildlife turning perfectly normal tech into a conspiracy prop?
