A client's comment about my blowout technique stuck with me for weeks

I had this older lady come in last month, regular appointment every 6 weeks, and she casually said my round brush work felt a little heavy on her crown. At first I was annoyed because nobody else ever mentioned it. But I watched myself in the mirror with my next few clients and she was right, I was putting way too much tension up there. I switched to a smaller sectioning pattern and lighter tension near the top, using my fingers more than the brush. That client came back this week and said it felt like a totally different service, no pulling at all. Has anyone else gotten feedback that sounded picky but actually fixed a habit you didn't know you had?
