Saw a guy hand a stranger $40 for a used air fryer on a porch in Reno and it fixed my whole week
Last Saturday I drove 25 minutes across town to grab a $30 bookshelf off a listing in Reno. When I pulled up, this older dude was already there for the same shelf, but he wasn't mad at all. He saw the seller had an old air fryer sitting by the door with a $40 tag and just asked if it worked. The seller said yes, so the guy handed over two twenties right there, no haggling, no weird vibes. I got my shelf and we both walked away happy, which felt almost wrong given all the nonsense I usually deal with on this app. It made me think about how many deals go bad because someone shows up angry or tries to lowball after you already agreed on a price in messages. I've had people waste 45 minutes of my time and then offer me half, and here this guy closed a deal in 90 seconds being normal. So what's the fastest, smoothest deal you ever had on here that made you forget the horror stories for a bit?
Scored a free mini fridge one time because the guy just wanted it gone and I showed up when I said I would. We talked for like two minutes, he helped me load it, and that was it. Being normal and on time really is the whole game on here.
