Hot take: check your wind speed at the boom tip, not the cab, on tall picks
Got caught last Tuesday on a 180 ft tower pick in Amarillo where the ground said 12 mph but it was gusting way harder up top, and my LMI wind alarm started chirping mid swing. Anyone else keep a handheld anemometer in the cab for this, or am I the only one paranoid about it?
