Almost fell for a phishing email that looked legit. Now I'm double-checking everything. What red flags do you look for?

Hey, do you check the sender's actual email address? I've seen ones that look close but have extra numbers or weird domains. What about links - do you hover before clicking?

Something else I watch out for is the whole vibe of the email itself, not just the address. Scammers are getting good at copying the exact look of real company emails, but they almost always add some weird urgency or threat. Like "your account will be closed in 24 hours!" Real companies just don't phrase things that way. They try to panic you so you click without thinking. I got one that looked perfect from my bank but the tone was all off, super aggressive. It's a huge red flag for me now.
