Digital dive logs are taking over, and I'm not sure how I feel about it

They save space, but a paper log never runs out of battery. What if you lose data during a key project?

Blending modes turned my dull art into something lively

I always used the normal blend mode and wondered why my paintings looked so boring. After testing overlay and multiply, the shadows and lights got way better. Using soft light for highlights made everything pop. Isn't it wild how such a simple fix can improve your work?

Imagine rushing through it and breaking something worse, though (we've all been there). Sometimes that impatience is just your brain properly warning you about a tricky step. Slowing down honestly saves more time in the long run.
