My friend said to never click 'unsubscribe' on spam emails, and he was dead right.
I got a phishing email that looked legit last week, clicked unsubscribe, and my inbox got flooded with 10x more junk. It just confirms your address is active. Anyone have a better way to handle those fake 'shipping notification' scams?

Your friend said to never click unsubscribe and you still did it last week. That's like seeing a sign that says wet paint and touching it anyway. I got one of those fake shipping emails from "Amazon" about a package I never ordered. The tracking number was totally made up. What do you even do with those, just delete them right away?
