Warning: that 40% off grocery coupon at the Concord Market Basket only saved me $6
I clipped a big 40% off coupon from the Sunday flyer and drove over to the Market Basket on Storrs St in Concord to stock up. Turns out the 40% only counts on certain items and most of what I grabbed wasn't on the list. I walked out with $6 saved on a $78 receipt and felt like a sucker for the whole drive home. Has anyone actually figured out which items the big coupons count on before you get to the register, or do you just ask at the service desk first?
