Appreciation post: the couponing lady at my Kroger in Tulsa told me to stack the paper insert with the app, and I saved $67
About 6 months back I was complaining in line about how coupons never work anymore, and the lady behind me said the trick is stacking the paper insert from the Sunday paper with the digital app offers. I kinda rolled my eyes but tried it that same trip. First run I got $23 off a $90 cart, mostly on cereal, laundry soap, and toothpaste. Last weekend I did a bigger run and walked out with $67 saved on $140 worth of stuff. She also told me to check the clearance endcap first because the app sometimes marks those items down twice. Has anyone else had luck stacking paper and digital like that, or is there an even better combo I am missing?
