Finally caved on a $12 car charger, shocked it wasn't junk

Bought a cheap 2-pack from some random site after my last one died in Phoenix traffic. Both have held up for 6 months, even in my 115 degree car. Anyone else find budget gear that actually outlasts the name brand stuff?

Dang, six months in Phoenix heat is no joke, that's a real test. I grabbed a random $8 Bluetooth adapter for my old car and it's been going strong for over two years now, while the $40 one from Best Buy died in like four months.
