Saw a $19.99 'lifetime' VPN deal on a deals site and almost bought it, now I get why everyone said no
The fine print at the bottom of the page said the price jumps to $89 every year after the first 12 months, which is how a $20 deal turns into $400 over five years, so does anyone actually keep track of renewal dates or do we all just get surprised when the charge hits?
