inTIL the hard way that iced coffee and a laptop don't mix, $600 later
That coffee on the arm of the chair move is basically asking for trouble. A desk or table is right there for a reason, but I guess we all learn that lesson the hard way sometimes. Honestly, that's cheap insurance compared to what some folks pay when they spill on a work-issued machine. Plus, now you have a good story and a boss who clearly knows how to deliver a punchline.

inSwitched from big chain coupons to local store apps, my grocery bill dropped $80 a month
Funny thing about giving up your phone number, my wife started getting texts from the local grocery chain about "personalized offers" and now she thinks the algorithm knows we're out of milk before we do. Last week it sent her a coupon for diapers and we don't even have a kid, so either the data's off or the store's trying to tell us something. The apps are definitely cheaper though, I've been using the Shaws one and it got me a free turkey last November that I still haven't finished carving. Paper coupons always felt like a treasure hunt, but now it's more like the app just dumps the treasure in my lap while I'm sitting on the couch in my socks.

inOne 36-hour stretch that made me appreciate Gordon Square again
You got the $20 from the grate? That's wild. Next time your truck dies, check the bus rack on Lorain, I found a whole tool set there once.

inHit 777 anime episodes logged and my spreadsheet broke
Jumped right over to my own tracker when I saw this because it hit so close to home. I got to 555 episodes a few months ago and straight up stared at my spreadsheet for like five minutes, just admiring the number. Then I realized I had a whole color coded tab for "on hold" shows that I haven't touched in two years, so that was its own weird milestone. My system is just a mess of random notes and star ratings, but hitting those triple digit repeats always makes me feel like I'm part of some secret club. The 777 is way cooler though, I probably would have dropped my phone for that one.

inThat moment you realize your tagline is 6 feet off on a blind lift
Man that sounds like a real headache... spotters who can't see the load are just asking for trouble. Glad you got it sorted before anything bad happened.
