Serious question, did the cashier at the Fry's in Phoenix really just hand me $47 in coupons?
I was standing in line at the Fry's on Bell Road in Phoenix with a cart full of stuff and this cashier named Darlene starts scanning these little paper coupons off a stack next to her register, ones nobody even asked for. She rings me up and my total goes from $112 down to $65, and I'm just standing there holding my card like an idiot. I had no clue stores kept a stash of unclaimed coupons behind the counter, so now I always ask before I pay. Do other chains do this or did I just get lucky with one cool employee?
