Appreciation post: the guy at the Greektown mixer who asked what I actually needed
I was 20 minutes into a room full of people trading cards when he asked that, and it threw me off so bad I just stood there. Told him I needed one intro to a commercial landlord in Corktown, he made it on the spot, and now I skip the card swap and ask that question first. What's the strangest thing someone has asked you at a networking event?
