Just realized the free coffee at that Troy chamber mixer does most of the work
I skipped the paid speed networking thing in Southfield two months back because it felt like a sales pitch, and instead hit the free morning mixer at a bakery over in Troy. Turned out three of the five people there ran shops within two miles of my gym, and one of them now sends me clients who want to fix their backs. Curious if anyone else has had better luck with the smaller free events than the big paid ones.
