You ever drop four bills on something and get absolutely nothing back, to the point you start wondering if the universe is just collecting your money for jokes? Honestly, I once paid $300 for a "networking breakfast" and the only lead I got was a guy trying to sell me crypto in the parking lot. Tbh, at least your $400 came with a nicer badge than mine. Ngl, it stings worse when you know you could've blown that cash on a decent tool set or a weekend trip instead. Does the chamber at least send you a free calendar or something, or is it just a tax on optimism?
