Serious question, did a $35 coffee meetup at a Ferndale diner get me more work than 6 months of Chamber mixers?
I started showing up to the Tuesday 8am meetup at the diner on Woodward just to listen, and a guy who runs a print shop asked me to quote his warehouse signage on week 3. Still not sure if it's the smaller crowd or just that nobody's pitching at 8am. Anyone else find that the low-key meetups beat the big formal events around here?

Sounds like luck, one guy needing signage doesn't prove small meetups are better.
