inOur club's mystery pick had a huge plot hole I nearly missed
My wife still makes fun of me for the time I paused a movie to check if two towns were really that close on a map, so welcome to the club. Travel errors bug me more than they should because once you see the map in your head, you can't unsee it. The worst one for me was a book where a guy makes it across half of Montana in what felt like a lunch break. It did not ruin the whole ending but it made me trust the writer less for the last fifty pages. Two hours coast to Portland with bad roads is rough, so no, you are not overthinking it.

inBought a $120 Python course and learned more from a free YouTube playlist
Reminds me of when I spent like $200 on this "expert" guitar course and then my neighbor showed me three chords on his porch and suddenly I could play songs... sometimes paying more just means they spent more on ads. Free stuff from actual teachers beats a slick sales page almost every time.

inSerious question, did a $35 coffee meetup at a Ferndale diner get me more work than 6 months of Chamber mixers?
Sounds like luck, one guy needing signage doesn't prove small meetups are better.
