The handshake that landed me a big client at a Detroit Tigers game

Last month I went to a Tigers game at Comerica Park with my cousin, not even thinking about work. He introduced me to his buddy who runs a small logistics company in Dearborn, and we just talked about the game and the new stadium renovations. Turns out he was looking for a new marketing firm, and my cousin mentioned I do that. We grabbed a hot dog during the 7th inning stretch, and by the time we left, he asked for my card. Two weeks later I sent him a proposal for a 6 month contract worth about $14k. Has anyone else landed business through a totally random, casual meetup like this?
