Rant: my old test light finally gave up mid-diag

I was chasing a no-crank on a 2007 Freightliner last Thursday and the 20 year old test light I inherited from my first mentor just went dim and quit, no spark at all. I had to dig out the multimeter I always keep in the bottom drawer and finish the job that way. Anyone else hang onto old tools longer than they should because they feel like part of the routine?
