A random viewer in Portland changed how I present my portfolio

At a small gallery show last spring, a woman spent 5 minutes staring at one of my digital pieces, then asked why I kept my process shots hidden in a binder. I told her I thought they cluttered the display, but she said seeing the sketch to final layers made the piece feel real to her. Now I always put a 3-step process strip under each piece at shows, and people stop way longer. Has anyone else gotten feedback like that from a stranger that flipped your setup?
