inMy old boss told me to always use a torque wrench on the governor bolts, even if it feels tight.
Yeah, that old advice is solid for a reason lol. A paint pen works best for marking, even in tight spots. Just a single line across the bolt head and onto the housing so you can see at a glance if it's moved.

inOverheard a couple arguing about 'The Road' at the library coffee shop yesterday
Honestly that sounds like the best kind of book club to be in.

inBought a $40 stamp set for my weekly spreads and it backfired in the best way
Actually, I'd try to fix it first. A light sanding with fine grit paper can take the ghosting down without wrecking the page. If that fails, then sure, work around it, but a clean page is worth a quick attempt.

inWhy does nobody talk about how many people still use the wrong compression on RG6 fittings?
Okay but is the signal drop actually that bad in a real house? I've seen techs mix them up and the customer still gets all their channels. Maybe @avery_ross19 just has a really good meter. Unless it's a super long run or you're splitting the signal five ways, a lot of times it still works fine. People probably don't talk about it because it often doesn't cause a real problem you can see on the TV.

inVent: I was trying to describe 'The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.' to my nephew and just got a blank stare
My VHS tapes of 'The Critic' are basically fossils now.
