Bought an $80 digital art tablet off a Facebook ad and the stylus lags about half a second behind my hand

Mine does the same thing and I keep telling myself it builds character. Half a second is enough time to second guess every line before it even shows up, so now I just draw slow stuff and pretend it's a style choice. Real talk though, try turning off any smoothing or "anti-shake" setting in the app, that fixed about half my lag. The other half is just the tablet being an $80 tablet.
