Why does nobody talk about drawing at 50% zoom before doing detail work
I used to zoom in to like 400% and start shading right away, and my pieces always ended up looking lumpy when I zoomed back out. Last week I forced myself to do all the rough block-in at 50% and only zoom past 100% at the very end, and my last three portraits actually read clean at full size. Anyone else fight the urge to zoom way in too early on a piece?
