Switched from app timers to a dumb alarm clock and my mornings are so much better
For about 6 months I used one of those screen time apps that locks you out at a set time, but I'd just tap "ignore limit" and keep scrolling in bed until midnight. Two weeks ago I dug out an old $12 alarm clock from a drawer, started leaving my phone charging in the kitchen overnight, and I'm asleep by 10:30 now. Has anyone else tried the physical separation thing, or do you still keep your phone in the bedroom?
