Why I stopped doing a full inbox zero every Sunday and it actually helped
Everyone in this group pushes inbox zero like it is the only way, but back in January I switched to a folder called "Read Later" and let it pile up to 300 unread messages. Last month I went through the whole thing in one sitting at my kitchen table in Reno and deleted 260 of them without replying to a single one. Turns out most of that mail was newsletters I signed up for in 2021 and never opened. Does anyone else keep a junk folder on purpose, or am I just making excuses?
