I got stuck on a SIM card swap in Tbilisi for 11 days because of one missed line in my contract
Two Mondays ago I walked into a Magti store in Tbilisi to grab a local SIM so I could stop burning $12 a day on roaming. The guy behind the counter told me my phone was locked to my home carrier and there was nothing he could do, so I spent the rest of that afternoon hunting for an unlock code online. It turned out the code had been emailed to me three months earlier and was buried in a promo folder I never open. I typed it in, the SIM worked in about 90 seconds, and I just sat there feeling dumb. Has anyone else lost days to something that was already solved in their own inbox?
