Read a cafe sign in Chiang Mai that said "No laptops after 12pm"

Some older guy next to me packed up his stuff and mumbled something about "back to my airbnb coffin." It hit me that I've been working from coffee shops for 8 months straight and my entire world view has shrunk to the size of a latte cup. Has anyone else just straight up worked from their hotel room for a week to break the cycle?

Buddy of mine did a full week in his hotel room in Bali. Just ordered room service and stared at the same four walls. Said it was actually kind of nice, like a reset button for his brain.
