Swapped my coworking membership for a library card, saved $400 this month
I was paying $350/mo for a hot desk in Chiang Mai and honestly barely used half the days. Last month I cut it and started working out of the public library near Nimman instead. Free wifi, AC, and they even have a quiet floor with power outlets on every table. The only downside is they close at 6pm, so I just shift my deep work to mornings and do calls at a cafe later. Has anyone else gone fully public-space only, or do you need a proper office for client meetings?

Tbh, the 6pm closing time is the dealbreaker for me. What do you do when you have a client deadline that hits at 9pm and you really need to crank through a few hours of focused work? Do you just pack up and head home, or do you have some backup spot that works?
