TIL a simple question from a stranger in Chiang Mai changed how I work

I was at that coworking space near the old city, you know the one with the big mango tree out back. A guy named Tom from the UK asked me why I was grinding so hard on a Saturday. He just sat down and said 'what's the point of being a nomad if you're chained to your laptop 60 hours a week?' It hit me that I was treating freedom like just another job. Has anyone else had a stranger call them out like that?
