Found out my portable hotspot gets perfect signal in the parking garage of the old shopping mall. Sat there for an hour last Tuesday eating a sandwich while my phone updated. It's quiet, no one bothers you, and the concrete seems to help. Sometimes the best spot has nothing to do with coffee or tables, just decent signal and a place to park.

Spotty internet will make you rethink everything. I get why you ditched the cafes. But @jordan_owens has a point about bubbles. Sometimes you need a place with good plugs and real tables, not just a hotspot signal. Just depends if the wifi actually works.
