That $40 screen protector kit was a total scam for my old iPad

Tbh I bought one of those glass screen protector kits with the alignment frame last month for my iPad Air 2. Cost me $40 because I wanted the 'premium' brand instead of the generic $12 one on Amazon. The frame didn't fit right, the adhesive peeled at the top corner after 2 days, and now I have dust bubbles I can't pop out. Honestly my old scratched screen was better than this mess. Has anyone else had luck with those cheap multi-packs instead? I'm about to just run it naked until I replace the tablet.
