Vent: Had to choose between a local CAD course or the online cert from that big tech school.

My boss in Spokane said he'd pay for one, but I had to pick fast. I went with the local course at the community college because it was hands-on with actual prints. It was the right call, the instructor fixed my layer management issues in the first week. Anyone else had to make a call like that with training money?

Hands-on training always beats a fancy name when you need to fix real problems fast.

Sometimes the fancy name means you got the right training though. A certified electrician will fix wiring faster than someone who just tinkered with it. The title can show proven skill.
