My plumb bob has saved more dredge days than any sonar unit

Everyone laughs when I pull out my old plumb bob, but it never fails in murky water where sonar glitches. Last month, our digital readout went blank, but I had accurate depth readings in minutes. It's slow, but reliable when you need it most.

Hold on, your sonar unit went completely blank? That's insane! I can't believe how often high tech stuff fails when it matters most. That plumb bob saved us at 200 feet last summer. Sometimes you just gotta trust the old ways when the fancy stuff blinks out.
