Shoutout to the guy who argued with me about using a 6-inch knife for finishing, because hitting 500 linear feet of flawless seams with it last Tuesday proved him wrong.

Everyone says you need a 10 or 12-inch knife for a smooth finish, but I find the smaller blade gives me way more control on tricky corners and curves, so what's your go-to knife size for final coats?

Read that bigger knives can hide imperfections better.

Got to point out that flawless seams with a 6-inch knife sounds like a bit of a stretch, man. That's a ton of area for such a small blade and you'd be fighting to keep it flat over long runs. I usually grab a 12-inch for finishing walls because it bridges bumps way better, but I'll keep a 6-inch handy just for inside corners like you said. The bigger knife just leaves fewer lines to sand later.
