Can we talk about how I was stripping 12/2 Romex wrong for my first two years on the job?

I was scoring the outer jacket way too deep with my knife until a foreman in Dallas saw me and said, 'You're gonna nick a conductor and not even know it, kid.'

Honestly, that's a super common rookie mistake. Tbh, we've all been there with something. Good thing he caught you before it caused real trouble.

Yeah, for real. My old boss used to say the best way to learn is by almost messing up. Makes you double check everything after that.
