Spent $80 on a proper thermal camera attachment for my phone and it found a short on a PS5 board in under a minute.
Has anyone else had a tool that seemed like a splurge pay for itself almost immediately?

Bought a good torque wrench for my car. Always guessed before. Snapped a bolt the first time I used it right. Cost less than a tow truck would have. Felt like a genius move. Tools you trust are worth every penny.

Read an article once about how most people way over tighten lug nuts. They said you can warp your brake rotors just by cranking them down too hard. Your story about snapping a bolt proves the point perfectly. A good torque wrench isn't just about doing it right, it's about not doing expensive wrong. That click is the sound of saving money.
