Honestly, I was using a regular cotton round for my clients' toner for years. Switched to those reusable bamboo ones last month and the difference is wild.

Regular cotton round" is actually a bit of a misnomer, they're usually a rayon-polyester blend.

Bamboo ones are way more absorbent.

Yeah it's wild how many things are labeled one thing but made of another. I see it all the time with "cotton" socks or t-shirts that are mostly plastic. Feels like you have to read the tiny print on everything now just to know what you're actually buying. Makes you wonder why they don't just call it what it is.
