The day I realized tinted moisturizers aren't what they used to be
I pulled out an old bottle of tinted moisturizer from like 2012 last week while cleaning my kit, and the texture was so different from today's versions - way thicker and more like a foundation. Now everything is so sheer and dewy I feel like I'm just putting shiny water on clients. Anyone else notice formulas shifting this much in the last decade?
Yeah jesse you're probably right... my kit's a disaster zone of expired stuff I keep "just in case" so that 2012 bottle was probably more science experiment than beauty product at that point.
Hold up, tinted moisturizers back in 2012 were mostly just thicker SPF creams, not really foundation-level. The old stuff probably just separated in the bottle over a decade.
