Rant: My forge burner clogged mid-shoe today

Was shaping a front shoe for a draft horse in Newton and the propane flow just died. Took me 20 minutes to find the spider web in the nozzle. Anyone else deal with bugs in their burner setup?

Oh man, spiders in the burner is the worst. I once had one clog up my mig welder nozzle and it shot out this weird little web-ball of melted copper halfway through a repair job. Made me look like I was setting off a tiny firework in my shop. I swear those little guys have a sixth sense for the worst possible timing. Like they think, "Oh, she's right in the middle of a hot shoe, let me build a condo in her propane line." At least it was just a spider though. Could have been a mud dauber nest, those are a nightmare to clean out.

Hate to break it to you, but bugs getting into everything is just life's way of reminding us we're not in charge.
