My desk cable situation is out of control after adding a third monitor

I finally added a third monitor to my setup last weekend, and now the back of my desk looks like a snake nest. I've got power cables, DisplayPort cables, and USB hubs all tangled together. I tried using zip ties but they just made a bigger mess. Anyone have a simple trick for keeping cables organized when you keep adding more stuff?

Honestly is this really that big of a deal? Like yeah cables are messy but unless you're filming a desk tour for YouTube why does it matter. Zip ties can actually make things worse if you're not careful with routing stuff. Just shove the extra cable length behind the desk and call it done, nobody's gonna see it anyway. You're overthinking this whole thing if you ask me. What's really the problem, tripping over them or just not liking the look?
