I caught a random late-night rerun on a local Chicago station last month, and the episode where Brisco finds the Orb in a 19th-century saloon completely flipped my view. It's not just a western, it's a weird sci-fi comedy mashup that was way ahead of its time in 1993. Anyone else have a show they totally misjudged from the channel-surfing days?

Channel surfing was the best way to find hidden gems back then. You had to just let it play through the commercials. That's how you got the full weirdness of a show.

Remember when you'd land on a show like that and just accept your fate for the next hour? I mean, you'd catch the tail end of some weird infomercial, then bam, you're watching a guy fight a robot cowboy and you have zero context.
