Heat soak ruined my pour last Tuesday

Guy at the supply shop told me I wasn't letting my ladle cool long enough between heats. Now I'm wondering how many bad castings I chalked up to bad sand mix.

Oh man, I've got like three of those sitting on my desk right now. Every time something weird breaks I'm just like "guess the sand had it out for me today." It's basically become my default excuse for anything I can't figure out.

@jessica_miller @wendy72 pro tip: always log the temps and humidity before giving up, that data always points to the real cause.
