Overheard someone say their 2005 iPod still works better than any music app today

I was at a coffee shop last Tuesday and this guy next to me said his old iPod classic has never crashed on him once. Meanwhile my Spotify app glitched out three times just trying to play a playlist. Made me think - maybe all this cloud stuff isn't actually better. I still use an old flip phone for calls, anyone else find newer tech just adds more frustration than value?

Three times in one session? Try 15 times in 20 minutes on Apple Music last week. It kept skipping songs, then froze completely. My old 2007 iPod nano with the click wheel never did that, even after I dropped it down a flight of stairs. People act like losing all your playlists is some kind of tragedy, but you can just make new ones.

Turning off auto-downloads fixed it for me.
