Noticed this happens way more than we give it credit for. Like how my cheap headphones from the gas station actually outlasted my friends expensive Beats. Or when I grabbed the store brand salsa instead of the name brand and it was literally better. We get so caught up thinking expensive or trendy stuff is automatically better but sometimes the simple thing just works. Reminds me of how I always pick the basic white tshirt over the fancy designer ones and they always hold up longer in the wash. There's something to be said for not overthinking it.

Used to be the exact opposite honestly... always thought you had to spend more to get quality. But then my kid grabbed a pack of store brand fruit snacks instead of the name brand and I didn't even notice the difference for a week. Made me rethink everything. Simple stuff really does hold up sometimes.
