Question about my weird fridge situation right now
Okay, so I opened the fridge and it's a real puzzle. I've got half a red onion, a jar of capers, a block of cream cheese, and some leftover roast chicken from two nights ago. I stared at it for a solid ten minutes and just gave up and ordered pizza. Has anyone ever made a decent meal from a combo like that? I feel like it should work but my brain is fried.

My brain would have short-circuited too. You stare at those four things and they just refuse to form a complete thought. I once tried to make a "meal" from a can of beans and a single pickle, so ordering pizza was the smart move. That chicken and cream cheese could maybe become a sad dip, but the capers and onion just heckle you from the sidelines. My cooking creativity taps out after a long day.

Totally get that. Feels like modern life gives us too many tiny choices that add up. Sometimes your brain just needs a simple win, like calling for pizza.

Honestly it's just some random fridge stuff, not a final exam. People act like not making a meal from scraps is some kind of failure. The pizza was fine.
