I once brushed off safety meetings until a veteran glazier shared his close call.

A five-minute talk can stop a lifetime of regret, in my experience.

That 1992 ladder safety VHS they made us watch every quarter was so boring I memorized the narrator's cough. But after hearing a similar story from an old timer who watched a guy slip, I get it now. They make the talks mind numbing on purpose so the one scary thing that actually gets through sticks for life. It's like a weird psychological trick wrapped in bad corporate training. What was the most boring safety talk you ever sat through that probably saved your skin later?

One talk helps, but consistent reminders are key.
